RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We accept change of mind returns for most purchases made in store or online as long as you meet these criteria:

Christmas Extended Returns -

All purchases from 01 November 2024 until 24 December 2024 can be returned up until 30 days after Christmas 23/01/2025, OR 45 days for Locals 07/02/2024, as long as all items comply with our returns policy.

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of original purchase date (45 days for Locals)
  • Items must be in new, unworn condition with original tags attached
  • We accept swimwear returns as long as all original tags and hygiene stickers are attached and garments are in perfect, re-sellable condition. Any swimwear sold in a set must be returned in a set.
  • You must provide proof of purchase. If you are a Locals member we have a record of your purchases otherwise you need to provide a receipt or bank statement.
  • The following items are not eligible for return:
    • Final Clearance/Outlet products - marked on your receipt and identified at point of purchase
    • Gift Cards
    • Earrings
    • Underwear
    • Face Masks
    • Socks

The cost of postage on returned items is non refundable.

We may refuse the return of items that do not comply with the above criteria.

Please note, any purchase made in store will not be refundable back to the original payment method if sent back to our online department. A credit will be applied against your North Beach account instead. This credit can only be refunded in one of our North Beach stores. In store orders are considered in store purchases.


HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

In store

You can return return an Online order or Click and Collect order in store. Please take the item along with your proof of purchase in to any North Beach store.

By courier

Download the returns form and follow the instructions on the form. If the item is faulty, please contact online@northbeach.co.nz and we will issue a returns label for you.

FAULTY RETURNS

If your purchase is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to find a remedy within a reasonable time frame.


AFTERPAY, LAYBUY, ZIP & STORE ORDER RETURNS

All orders paid via Afterpay, Laybuy and ZIP must be returned to the original store from which the purchase was made to process a refund, otherwise a store credit will be issued. Orders placed in store for delivery to your home must be returned to the store you paid at to process a refund, otherwise a store credit will be issued.
